SDE Interns

Overview

Sapyon helps Amazon advertisers turn hourly Marketing Stream data into better ROAS through analytics, budget automation, and AI recommendations. As an SDE Intern, you’ll work alongside founding engineers on production systems, not throwaway projects.

You’ll ship features that advertisers use daily: data pipelines, APIs, dashboards, and automation logic. Expect ownership, code review, and a fast feedback loop.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across backend services, data jobs, and product UI
• Help ingest, transform, and surface hourly Amazon advertising signals
• Write clear, tested code and participate in reviews
• Debug production issues with mentorship from senior engineers
• Document what you build so the next person can move faster

Requirements

• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in CS, IT, or related field
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, APIs, and at least one language (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or similar)
• Comfortable learning a new codebase quickly and asking sharp questions
• Interest in data-heavy products, SaaS, or advertising technology
• Available for a full-time internship (duration flexible; typically 3–6 months)

Nice to have

• Prior internships, open-source contributions, or shipped side projects
• Familiarity with SQL, React, or cloud basics (AWS/GCP)
• Curiosity about Amazon Ads or performance marketing
